ANTHROPOLOGY
This science looks into the development of human beings and evolution of human behaviour. Its scope lies in the study of multicultural societies as well. The basic four fields of Anthropology are Biological Anthropology, Archaeology, Socio-Cultural Anthropology and Linguistic Anthropology.
The employment can be obtained in W.H.O., UNESCO, UNICEF, Anthropological Survey of India and research institutes. Apart from these, the art galleries, curators, educational institutes, publishing houses, NGOs, archives, museums and libraries also employ anthropologists.
The major specialisations in Anthropology are Applied Anthropology, Business Anthropology, Forensic Anthropology, Linguistic Anthropology, Medical Anthropology, Physical Anthropology, Prehistoric-Anthropology, Socio-cultural Anthropology and Visual Anthropology.
